Besart Kelmendi (known by his stage name Gjesti) is facing justice today following the incident reported two days ago at the offices of Onima in Pristina. Ahead of the hearing, G-Bani has made a strong public reaction in support of the artist.
Through a post, G-Bani emphasized that Gjesti’s problem is not himself, but the wrong social circle around him that did not stop him from making impulsive actions. According to him, everything came as a result of his young age, the pressure of fame, and the heavy emotional state following the loss of his brother.
“He was betrayed when they reported him,” G-Bani said, although he openly admitted that the path Gjesti chose to resolve the conflict was completely wrong.
In the end, he made an appeal to the authorities: that Gjesti should receive a lesson or a heavy fine, but not be deprived of his freedom, because according to him the artist does not pose a danger and does not deserve to have his career interrupted at this point.
