This is the person arrested for crimes against civilians in Matičani

Police investigators from the Directorate for the Investigation of War Crimes, by order of the Special Prosecution, have arrested a person with the initials ZS, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “war crimes against the civilian population”.

The Insajderi newspaper has learned that the arrested person is Zoran Stankovic.

According to the Prosecution’s announcement, the defendant is suspected of having committed war crimes in Matičani during the period 1998–1999, as part of a paramilitary group of Serbian forces.
