The company that finances Vetëvendosje and is rewarded with tenders supported Shkëlzen Gashi’s exhibition.

The company supporting the Lëvizja Vetëvendosje party, which only two weeks ago again won the monopoly for supplying airplanes with kerosene, “EX FIS”, was one of the main financiers of the controversial exhibition “Massacres in Kosovo 1998–1999”, where incorrect data about war victims were presented.

“EX FIS” and the Assembly of Kosovo were two of the seven main donors of the controversial exhibition that began to be displayed in Prishtina’s main square on the anniversary of the NATO bombing, on March 24.

Gashi had thanked the donors for their financial support when announcing the opening of the exhibition:

“From today, March 24, 2026, until April 7, 2026, the exhibition ‘Massacres in Kosovo 1998–1999’, organized by ADMOVERE and INTEGRA, will be displayed in ‘Mother Teresa’ Square in Prishtina… This exhibition was realized with financial support from the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, EXFIS, Dukagjini Bookstore, JYSK, KFC, CHwB, and Besa-Besë,” Gashi wrote in his post on March 24.

“EX FIS” approximately two weeks ago won the right to supply airplanes with kerosene at the “Adem Jashari” Airport.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo (CAA) had approved the private company “EX FIS” to provide kerosene services for a period of seven years.

The monopoly for kerosene supply was granted without being subjected to competition in the fuel market.

For years, “EX FIS” has exercised a monopoly in supplying the Pristina International Airport, collecting tens of millions of euros.

According to the company’s financial statements for 2024, “EX FIS” declared about 13.5 million euros in net profit, while its net profit in 2023 was 9.6 million euros.

In 2021 alone, according to an article by “Reporter”, the company “EX FIS” had earned over 10 million euros gross during 2018 and 2019 from the monopoly on supplying kerosene at the airport.

“EX FIS” also appeared on the list of financiers of Lëvizja Vetëvendosje during the 2020 elections. The fuel company was one of the largest donors to the ruling party, donating 9,534 euros to LVV.

Meanwhile, the Kosovo Business Alliance today called on the businesses that financed this exhibition to apologize. However, so far, none of them has taken such action.

On the other hand, the Assembly of Kosovo, as one of the main donors, stated that responsibility lies with the authors of the exhibition.
