The boards with inaccurate information about the massacres are removed from the square

The Municipality of Pristina, together with the capital’s teams, has removed the boards of the exhibition “Massacres in Kosovo 1998–1999” from Mother Teresa Square.

The Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, shared a video showing the boards being taken down from the square.

This action comes after the decision by Përparim Rama to suspend the exhibition permit due to inaccuracies identified in the content of the exhibition.

The exhibition, opened on March 24 in Pristina’s squares to commemorate the massacres committed by Serbian forces in Kosovo during the war, contains numerous inaccuracies.

The exhibition, authored by Shkëlzen Gashi, has sparked public reactions after many mistakes were identified in the information written on the boards.

In the exhibition placed in Pristina’s square for the anniversary of NATO’s bombings, a considerable number of civilians who were killed in various massacres were described as armed individuals.

There are inaccuracies in almost all of the exhibition boards.

Regarding these inaccuracies, survivors of the Dubrava massacre, Enver Dugolli and Sadik Zeqiri, as well as the Minister for Labour, Family and War Veterans’ Values, Andin Hoti, reacted, with the latter calling the exhibition a direct violation of historical truth.
