A serious accident occurred yesterday in Prizren, where one person sustained severe bodily injuries.
According to the police report, after receiving medical treatment at the hospital in Prizren, the injured person was sent to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) for further treatment.
Meanwhile, another person was arrested, as he is suspected of having been under the influence of alcohol while driving and causing the traffic accident by hitting the car driven by the Kosovar male victim.
“He was arrested after it was suspected that, while driving under the influence of alcohol, he caused a traffic accident by hitting a vehicle driven by a Kosovar male victim. As a result, the victim suffered bodily injuries and, after receiving medical treatment at the Prizren Hospital, was sent to QKUK for further treatment. By decision of the prosecutor, the suspect has been sent to detention,” the 24-hour report states.
