RTK journalist Blerta Foniqi Kabashi responds to Kurti: You talk about freedom of speech, while we left our duties because of it

RTK journalist Blerta Foniqi Kabashi has reacted to the harsh attacks by Prime Minister Albin Kurti against the media, which he described as financially linked to Serbia, while also stating that “freedom of speech must be protected.”

Foniqi Kabashi reminded him that it was precisely because of freedom of speech that she and several other journalists left their positions at RTK.

Full post:

“The Prime Minister said that a democracy lives by the spoken word and that it must be free in order to be valuable.

  • But unfortunately, even we are not free in this democracy.”
