Police conducted a raid in Skenderaj after receiving information that a person had appeared on social media displaying a weapon.
As a result, the suspect was identified and located.
On Tuesday, based on reasonable suspicion, a search was carried out at the suspect’s home in the Skenderaj area. During the search, five weapons were found and seized:
Three short firearms (pistols)
Two long firearms
734 bullets of various calibers
The suspect was interviewed for unauthorized possession of weapons and possession of weapons with an expired permit. In consultation with the prosecutor, the case is continuing under regular procedure. A criminal case has been initiated against him for the offense: “Unauthorized ownership, control, or possession of weapons.”
