Llapi fans behaved poorly over the past weekend during the match against KF Drenica.
Their actions have caused trouble that is expected to cost their beloved club, reports Gazeta Express.
In fact, the Competition Commission of the Football Federation of Kosovo has initiated disciplinary proceedings against KF Llapi regarding fan-related incidents before, during, and after the Round 28 Superliga match.
Reports state that the fans damaged the visiting team’s bus and threw objects from the stands during the game.
“Before the match started, the home supporters’ group chanted insults in chorus toward the visiting club, and repeatedly insulted the visiting fans during the match as well.”
“In the 38th minute, a smoke flare was thrown onto the field by home fans, fortunately without consequences. Before the start of the second half, as players were entering the pitch, a hard object was thrown toward the visiting players, but luckily no one was hit.”
“After the match ended, while heading to the locker rooms, players of the visiting team were attacked from the stands by home fans using various objects such as sticks and plastic bottles. During their departure from Podujeva, despite being escorted by police, the visiting team’s bus was attacked with stones, resulting in broken windows,” states the match delegate’s report for Llapi vs. Drenica.
The Disciplinary Commission will decide on the consequences of these actions, and Llapi could face sanctions, including playing matches without spectators.
