Kurti: The 13th salary for public sector workers will be distributed at the end of this month

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has announced that the 13th salary for public sector workers will be distributed at the end of this month (March).

He had previously announced this at the beginning of the month during a meeting of the General Council of Lëvizja Vetëvendosje.

According to him, this payment is included in the 2026 budget, which amounts to around 4 billion euros.

Kurti had emphasized that the budget also includes an increase in the allowance for work experience from 0.25% to 0.50% for the first 15 years.

The budget was approved in the Assembly on February 20 with 62 votes in favor, while the opposition did not support it.
