Kosovo Police have announced that the person who was found without signs of life in Prizren has been identified.
According to the announcement, the incident occurred on March 26, 2026, at around 11:36 a.m., on Edith Durham Street, where a man around 70 years old was found dead. Police units, along with investigative and forensic teams, immediately responded to the scene.
Authorities have announced that no signs of violence were observed on the victim’s body. The body has been sent for further examination to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pristina, while the case has been initiated as a “death investigation” in consultation with the prosecutor.
Initially, the police had asked for the help of citizens to identify the victim. After investigative actions in the field and contact with family members, his identity was confirmed.
The police have thanked the media and citizens for their cooperation, announcing that legal procedures will continue in the coming days.
