Political analyst Dardan Sejdiu said tonight on the show Rubikon on Klan Kosova that he believes there is no real interest in reaching an agreement on electing the country’s new President.
He stated that the country is moving toward elections.
Sejdiu added that Albin Kurti’s goal is to go into elections while shifting as much blame as possible onto the opposition.
“We are heading to elections; we shouldn’t think there is any interest here for an agreement. There is interest in entering elections while distributing as much blame as possible to the opposition parties.”
“He tells the Democratic League of Kosovo that ‘we have nothing to do with you,’ but on the other hand, if the President is the game he is playing—where he says ‘the President belongs to Vetëvendosje, and in the Government we might include you’—then that door is also open for LDK and Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, and also open for Democratic Party of Kosovo. What he will do is put the entire opposition in one place,” he said.
