The 2-month-old baby who was urgently transported to the capital a day earlier for more specialized medical treatment due to a critical condition has passed away.
It is reported that the infant died a few hours after arriving in the capital, where despite the doctors’ intervention, the baby could not survive.
According to the investigative team, the case materials have been sent to the Prosecutor’s Office of Korça.
During the investigation, it will be determined whether the cause of death was malnutrition or another health problem that the baby may have had since birth.
