A person has been found without signs of life in a room at the “Berati” hotel in the village of Sllatina e Madhe, in the municipality of Fushë Kosovë, prompting authorities to launch an investigation to fully clarify the circumstances of the death.
The case was reported on March 12, 2026, at around 19:00, after the police received information from the mobile team of the Family Medicine Center (QMF) in Bresje that a male person had been found lying in a hotel room without signs of life.
The victim has been identified as Enver Emini, approximately 44 years old.
The attending doctor who arrived at the scene confirmed the death on site, and according to the initial assessment, no signs of violence were observed on the victim’s body.
Police units from the Fushë Kosovë Police Station, the Regional Investigation Unit, and the Regional Forensics team responded to the scene and carried out the necessary examinations.
By order of the duty prosecutor from the Department for Serious Crimes, the case has been initiated as an “Investigation into death,” while the body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
Investigations into the case are ongoing.
