The Basic Court of Pristina has extended the pre-trial detention of Fatmir Sheholli for another two months, as he is suspected of espionage.
The extension of the detention measure was confirmed to Indeksonline by the spokesperson of the court, Mirlinda Gashi.
“We inform you that following the request of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo for the continuation of the detention measure in the criminal case against the defendant F.SH., suspected of the criminal offense of espionage, the preliminary procedure judge, after reviewing the request, through the decision dated 09.03.2026 approved the request of the PSRK. Accordingly, the detention measure has been extended for a period of two (2) months, which will be counted until 08.05.2026,” the statement from Gashi said.
Fatmir Sheholli was arrested on October 9, 2025, on suspicion of espionage.
