The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, admitted that she had set December 28 as the election date in favor of Albin Kurti’s party.

The head of the parliamentary group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Besnik Tahiri, said that for him it is shocking how the President acted in synchronization with Kurti against the opposition.

“For me, it is quite shocking to hear that President Vjosa Osmani acted in full synchronization against the opposition, serving the electoral cause of Albin Kurti.

The decision on the election date, December 28, 2025, was exactly the date requested by Kurti, even though it was opposed by opposition parties,” Tahiri wrote on Facebook.
