The Government of Kosovo promises another 1 million euros if Kosovo defeats Turkey

The Government of Kosovo has allocated 500,000 euros as a reward for the Kosovo national football team after the important victory against Slovakia in the “play-off” for the 2026 World Cup.

“With great pride in our national team, today we are awarding the prize of 500,000 euros. I strongly hope that our exemplary boys win the big play-off final and make the dream of the World Cup come true. A victory tomorrow would be a reason to gather again, and we will also share 1 million euros with our national football team. We are pledging today that, if we go further and qualify, there will be rewards beyond what you can imagine,” Kurti said.
