Faruk Isufi from Klinë has died after being shot with a firearm in the village of Bokshiq.
His brother, Jetmir Isufi, a former footballer of KF Dukagjini, is suspected of the killing following a verbal dispute.
The case was confirmed to Sinjali by the Peja Police, while investigative units are continuing their work to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
“Around 15:10, the police were notified that after an argument between two brothers, one of them shot the other with a firearm. The victim was taken to the Emergency Center in Klinë and then transferred to the Hospital in Peja. Shortly before he was to be sent to University Clinical Center of Kosovo for further medical treatment, the victim unfortunately passed away. Relevant police and prosecution units arrived at the scene and are continuing investigative procedures,” Gashi stated.
