The organization “Shqiptaria” has announced the passing of devoted patriot, war invalid of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), and national cause activist, Shefki Sejdiu.
According to the announcement, Shefki Sejdiu died on April 8, 2025, leaving behind an extraordinary contribution in service of freedom and the Albanian national cause. He was one of the founders of the organization “Shqiptaria” and a well-known figure in national engagement since the 1990s.
“Shqiptaria” described his passing as a great loss for the Albanian nation, portraying Sejdiu as a symbol of resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to the homeland. Throughout his life, he remained active both during the war and in the challenging years that followed, always serving the national interest.
In its statement, the organization emphasized that his work was more than just a contribution – it was a lifelong mission and a rare example of steadfast commitment to the national ideal.
The organization “Shqiptaria” expressed its deepest condolences to the Sejdiu family, his fellow fighters, friends, and all those who knew and collaborated with him.
“His memory and legacy will live on forever in the national conscience,” the statement concludes.
