A 55-year-old man lost his life today at his workplace in the village of Strellc i Ulët in Deçan.
It is about Xhevat Hasanmetaj, who was a veteran of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Regarding the case, the Kosovo Police have also issued a statement.
The case was confirmed by the police spokesperson for the Peja region, Fadil Gashi.
“Today, at around 14:05, the Police were notified that in a workshop (sawmill) in the village of Strellc i Ulët, two workers were injured due to falling wooden planks. The injured were sent for treatment to the Emergency Department of the Regional Hospital in Peja. Shortly after, the attending doctor confirmed the death of one of the injured. Competent units have arrived at the scene,” said Gashi.
