A tragic accident occurred today in Austria, where an 18-year-old lost his life as a result of a collision between a truck and a car.

The incident happened in Zwettl an der Rodl, in the Urfahr-Umgebung district.
Austrian media, citing the local police, report that the accident occurred around midday on the B126 road, when the two vehicles collided on a right-hand curve.
As a result of the crash, the 18-year-old driver of the car died at the scene, despite efforts by the medical team to revive him.
Meanwhile, his passenger suffered serious injuries.
According to Austrian media, the two young men from Linz were trapped in the car, and firefighters had to intervene to pull them out of the vehicle.
Austrian authorities are continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
