A serious and painful incident has been reported in the village of Stroc in Vushtrri, where a man was found without signs of life and with severe burns on his body.
The case was discovered on the afternoon of March 25, around 17:00, when the complainant, Sh. I., came across the lifeless body of the victim, B. Isufi, in a field, reports Sinjali.
It is suspected that the victim had lit a pile of waste, but due to circumstances that are still unclear, he was caught by the flames and was unable to escape.
Police units and a medical team arrived at the scene, where the death was confirmed.
According to initial information, the victim was also suspected to have had health problems, which may have contributed to the tragic development of the incident.
The body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy, while the case has been initiated as an “Investigation into the death.”
