The Municipality of Mitrovica decides to remove billboards of Hashim Thaçi and Kadri Veseli; some citizens intervene – police step in

Local media outlet “Mitropol” has reported an incident that occurred in the Municipality of Mitrovica regarding the removal of several billboards in public spaces.

According to the report, the municipality led by Faton Peci has decided to remove billboards featuring Hashim Thaçi and Kadri Veseli, who are currently in The Hague.

It is reported that during the attempt to remove one of the billboards, several citizens intervened and opposed the action.

The Kosovo Police also intervened at the scene.

It is still unknown whether the municipality will continue with the removal of the billboards.
