Tear gas attack on Parliament, court rules for Albulena Haxhiu and others

Musa Damati, lawyer for Pal Lekaj, has stated that his client, as well as former MPs Albulena Haxhiu, Donika Kadaj-Bujupi and Besa Baftiu, have been declared innocent after 10 years in connection with the tear gas attack in the Kosovo Parliament.

The decision was made by a judge at the Basic Court of Pristina.

“This is an extraordinary success of the defense in the representation procedures conducted over the years and, finally, it is a triumph of justice and a pure legal victory in relation to my client,” he declared.
