Sentenced to Three Years and Five Months in Prison for Sexual Assault in Fushë Kosovë

The Basic Court in Pristina has sentenced the A.M. to three years and five months in prison for the criminal offenses of “sexual assault” and “minor bodily injury.”

The time the defendant spent in pre-trial detention will be counted toward the imposed prison sentence.

The accused is also obliged to pay an amount of 50 euros, as well as 20 euros as a fee to the Crime Victims Compensation Fund.

“The injured party is instructed to pursue the property-legal claim through regular civil proceedings. Against this verdict, dissatisfied parties have the right to appeal to the Court of Appeals through the Basic Court in Pristina,” the statement said.
