In Houston, Texas, where the world’s largest conference on planetary sciences, the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference, is held, a name from Kosovo stood out this year.
Young scientist, Pranvera Hyseni, participated for the third time in this prestigious event, where over 2000 researchers from around the world gather to present their research.
Hyseni had the opportunity to present her scientific work on stage, emphasizing that for her, the greatest pride was not only the presentation of the study, but the fact that she represented the Republic of Kosovo.
“For me, it is not a great honor to go on stage and talk only about the asteroid, but to come out and introduce myself from the Republic of Kosovo. We in Kosovo can also tell NASA about astronomy,” Hyseni declared in a video shared on TikTok.
At the end of the conference, awards were given for the best presentations, with Pranvera receiving the “Best Oral Presentation” award, ranking among the best among thousands of scientists.
