The Parliament of Albania has approved, with 79 votes in favor, a resolution declaring Iran a state sponsor of terrorism.
Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa’ar, through a post on the X platform, expressed appreciation for Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Parliament for the resolution, which he described as historic.
He further emphasized that “this is a demonstration of a clear moral dimension in Albania’s foreign policy.”
“I commend the Albanian Prime Minister @ediramaal and the Parliament of Albania for the historic resolution adopted today, declaring the Islamic Republic of Iran a state sponsor of terrorism. As stated in the resolution: Terrorism in all its forms constitutes one of the most serious threats to democratic societies. This is another demonstration of the clear moral dimension in Albania’s foreign policy,” wrote Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar.
