This will be Haxhiu’s first activity as Acting President

The Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, will also assume the duty of Acting President starting tomorrow.

Her first activity in the new position will be in Rezallë, where she will go to pay tribute.

“At 10:00, the Acting President, Albulena Haxhiu, will pay homage in Rezallë,” the Presidency’s announcement states.

The Rezallë massacre was among the most severe carried out by Serbian forces in Kosovo, where 98 Albanians were massacred on April 5, 1999.
