The police have announced that a person was arrested on Friday in Peja, after allegedly publishing a video on social media insulting the Haradinaj family.
According to the police report, the incident occurred around 18:00 at Sheshi Shkëlzen Haradinaj. After the suspect’s arrest, authorities carried out a search of his home, where two firearms were found and confiscated, one of which contained four bullets.
The suspect was escorted to the police station, where he was interviewed regarding the case. By decision of the competent prosecutor, a 48-hour detention measure was imposed on him.
“Sheshi Shkëlzen Haradinaj, Peja – 03.04.2026 – 18:00. The Kosovar male suspect was arrested because he posted a video recording on social media insulting the Haradinaj family. During a search of his home, two firearms – pistols – were found and confiscated, one with 4 rounds of ammunition. The suspect was interviewed and, by decision of the prosecutor, was placed in 48-hour detention,” the police’s 24-hour report states.
