The Regional Water Supply Company “Prishtina” has announced that the total debt for water has exceeded 45 million euros.
The announcement states that, in addition to non-payment of bills by some consumers, illegal connections to the network remain a serious problem, which are damaging the system and causing water shortages for citizens who pay regularly.
The RWC “Prishtina” has made it clear that there will be no tolerance towards debtors.
According to the announcement, all consumers with debts are obliged to immediately repay their overdue debts or enter into an installment payment agreement.
Otherwise, the company warns of interruption of water supply, taking legal measures against violators, and identifying and punishing all illegal connections.
