The Mayor of Deçan Municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj, has distanced himself from the “Deçan Movement”.
In a video that was shared on social networks, Ramosaj said at an iftar organized in Decan that this movement has nothing to do with nation or religion, writes Insajderi.
“In whatever variant this city of ours is called the “Deçan Movement”, you can be sure that these people have nothing to do with Deçan, they have nothing to do with either nation or religion, they have neither religion nor faith,” he declared.
“I say this out loud whenever I get the chance because I know some of these people from the past, I have lived with them, and there is no way it could be any other way,” he further stated.
