Reaction from Gjesti: I made a mistake, I apologize – we have started procedures against “Onima” for debts and mistreatment over the years.

Gjesti has reacted for the first time after being released from detention with a clarification on social media.
At first, he said that he is safe and well, and then explained the situation.
“I’m safe and well, close to my family. I love you all and thank you a hundred times for the support and the kind messages,” he wrote on InstaStory.
The artist from Peja says he hasn’t been going through a good period and that he apologizes for the concern he caused, but that he is continuing legal procedures against the company “Onima” for what he says are years of mistreatment.
Below is the full post (without edits):
“Clarification
The recent period hasn’t been the easiest for me, and I feel the need to address what happened.
First, I want to admit that I made a mistake and I apologize for the concern I caused to the staff.
I’m very sorry and I truly regret it.
I’m not that kind of person, and only a huge torture that never stopped could have brought me to that state.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the messages and support; you gave me strength in difficult moments.
A special thank you goes to my lawyers, Burim Azemi and Artan Çerkini, for their professionalism and continuous support.
In cooperation with the label, management, and our lawyers in the UK, we have started procedures against the company Onima for the mistreatment over the years, the debts (including the current debt), the lost opportunities, and the damages caused.
There are many things you still don’t know, but you will understand them very soon.
No one can stop my music, especially not people or companies whose goal is to destroy artists and tarnish the music industry.
During this time while we are in court, if necessary, I will post my songs only on TikTok and Instagram — but I won’t leave you without music. I love you all.
Justice will win, as always.”**
