The new bus station in Skenderaj has been inaugurated. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality, Fadil Nura, on March 18, 2026. The project had begun during his term as mayor.
“Today we open the doors of the new bus station in Skenderaj — a modern, functional, and dignified space that gives the city rhythm, order, and a new urban identity. Thank you to everyone who believed in our promises!” Nura said.
The bus station had been an electoral promise of Fadil Nura, who ran for mayor of Skenderaj in the 2021 local elections. He had also addressed this project during the debate “Jeta në Komunë” in October 2024.
At that time, Nura had stated that the project was in its final phase.
