A worker has suffered serious bodily injuries after falling from a height while working on a building under construction in Gjilan, Insajderi reports.
The Kosovo Police arrived at the scene and, in coordination with the prosecutor, have launched an investigation into this serious incident.
The spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Gjilan region, Ismet Hashani, confirmed that the state prosecutor has ordered the case to be opened under suspicion of “Destruction, damage, or removal of safety measures at work.”
“Today, on March 16, 2026, in the morning hours, the Kosovo Police in Gjilan were notified about the fall of a worker from a construction building. The victim suffered serious bodily injuries and was urgently transported to the hospital. Police have started investigations at the scene in coordination with the prosecutor,” Hashani said.
