Meliza Haradinaj, advisor to President Vjosa Osmani, has reacted after Minister Nenad Rašić said that Albin Kurti had given 24 hectares of land to the Visoki Dečani Monastery as a favor to him.Haradinaj said that this issue concerns the sovereignty of Kosovo and should not be treated as a favor between the prime minister and ministers, Insajderi reports.
“In the agreement negotiated and accepted by the Government, the reference to ‘European models’ is neither naive nor unclear. Serbia has for years aimed at the Mount Athos model a territory with special autonomy within the state of Greece, where a church structure exercises broad self-governing powers,” her reaction states.
“And while the public is served patriotic slogans every day, the reality comes out of the mouths of the government’s own Serbian ministers.
The statement by Minister Nenad Rašić about the 24 hectares of the Deçani Monastery is shocking: according to him, the decision was made ‘as a favor to him’,” Haradinaj continues.“And when decisions about the land of Kosovo are publicly justified as being ‘for someone’s favor’, the mask of pseudo-patriotism falls by itself,” her reaction concludes. /Insajderi.org/
